Chapter Ten

Kyle sucked in a breath. Was the universe conspiring against him, or giving him a gift?

“I thought that I might be able to persuade you to let me stay with you.” She looked at him with those big doe eyes and the blood froze in his veins. One by one he could hear the threads of his control snapping until very few remained. He was strong, but not that strong. Fuck.
